Pendennis Castle
The impressive Cornish landmark combines a unique 450 year history with contemporary styling and modern facilities, to offer a memorable setting for smart drinks receptions, exclusive dinners, conferences and meetings.
Within the castle walls, three areas are available to choose from; the magnificent Tudor Castle Keep, the former Edwardian Royal Artillery Barracks or the expansive Castle grounds. All can be hired individually or together, depending on event requirements.
The Castle has various dedicated conference facilities including:
Castle Keep – Built in the 1540’s the Tudor Castle Keep lies at the heart of the grounds and is floodlit at night. Drinks receptions for up to 150 are held in the octagonal Lower Gun Room, an atmospheric location where cannons once stood trained out to sea.
The Killigrew Room – this is the largest room available for daytime as well as evening events within the Royal Artillery Barracks. Built in 1901, the Barracks housed the regular regiment of Royal Garrison Artillery until 1911. A superb venue for corporate events and other special occasions.
Drinks reception 160, Dining 120, Theatre style 90.
The Melvill Room – Ideal for smaller meetings or for breakout sessions. It has stunning views of the Castle Keep and surrounding coastline.

Arundell Room – A spacious alternative for smaller meetings and breakout sessions.

Castle Grounds – Set on lawns between the Castle Keep and the Royal Artillery Barracks, marquee events have a dramatic historic backdrop.
Drinks reception 3000, Dining 2000, Theatre Style 2000, outdoor events 5000
All meeting rooms have natural daylight, are wheelchair accessible and fitted with an induction loop for hearing aid users. Includes lectern, multimedia projector, OHP, flip chart and screen.
